Things began to get more worrisome though, as a third person became involved, calling one of the men on his cell phone. Neither man had used each other’s names, giving her hope that it was to keep her from sharing them after they let her go, though she seesawed between that hope and despair over them not wearing disguises. The one wearing a faded t-shirt with a peeling logo that seemed to refer to a high school football team was standing by the rolled down garage door, phone to his ear. T-shirt Guy was gesticulating angrily with his free hand. “Yeah, well, she was right there, and they didn’t have no guards or nothing! I had the stuff, so I used it and we grabbed her and legged it. We were gonna snatch her anyways, so I don’t see the problem.” He pulled the phone away from his ear and grimaced at it before putting it back so he could speak. “Oh, you can fuck right off. So she got snatched before you gave us the okay. She’s here now, as planned, just a little early. And as for the monster Mylos, come on, someone’s got to be having some fun. Either that or they're trying to rattle us. Either way, it’s a hoax. No, you shut up!” he shouted, angrily poking the screen to end the call.
